    الكوخ - مدينة يافا هي مدينة 
    فلسطينية تاريخية وجميلة، تعرف بعروس البحر وبموقعها الاستراتيجي على الساحل الشرقي للبحر المتوسط. 

    تمتاز يافا بتراثها الثقافي والعمراني الغني، وبتنوع سكانها من المسلمين والمسيحيين واليهود. كانت يافا مركزًا تجاريًا هامًا للمنطقة، ومرفأً للحجاج والزوار إلى بيت المقدس. تأسست يافا على يد الكنعانيين في الألف الرابع قبل الميلاد، وشهدت على مر التاريخ حكم الفراعنة والآشوريين و البابليين والفرس والرومان والبيزنطيين والعرب والصليبيين والمماليك والعثمانيين والبريطانيين. 

    في عام 1948، احتلت إسرائيل يافا وطردت معظم أهلها العرب، وضمتها إلى بلدية تل أبيب. الآن، تحاول يافا الحفاظ على هويتها الفلسطينية وروحها المتجددة.

    The city of Jaffa is a historic and beautiful Palestinian city, known as the Mermaid and its strategic location on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea.  Jaffa is distinguished by its rich cultural and urban heritage, and by the diversity of its population, including Muslims, Christians, and Jews.  Jaffa was an important commercial center for the region, and a port for pilgrims and visitors to Jerusalem.  Jaffa was founded by the Canaanites in the fourth millennium BC, and throughout history it witnessed the rule of the Pharaohs, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Crusaders, Mamluks, Ottomans, and the British.  In 1948, Israel occupied Jaffa, expelled most of its Arab residents, and annexed it to the municipality of Tel Aviv.  Now, Jaffa is trying to preserve its Palestinian identity and renewed spirit.
